for
A few summers ago, I was introduced to the Creative Director for Stroheim. Little did she know we would be working closely together over the next 12 months to produce a stunning and colorful collection for her company. At our meetings in Richmond, New York and Tulsa we whittled down a group of designs that I think captures beautifully my loose painterly approach to design.
While the goal was to create a youthful collection of wallpaper for the venerable Stroheim brand, it became clear quickly, fabrics were needed to accompany the paper. Below, the windows are dressed in "Canton", a color saturated take on the ginger jars I offer in my studio collection. The walls are enlivened by Twig in Orange, inspired by a trellis pattern I use in my travel accessory line.
One of my favorite designs is Trot, seen here.
All the fabrics mix beautifully with the wall coverings. And to make your decorating choices even easier, solids in cotton are also available. For more information on the Dana Gibson Collection for Stroheim, please visit
